What about Donna?
Years ago while training for a marathon, I had a pain in my leg that was limiting my mileage. I saw my first massage therapist and my recovery was nearly immediate and I ran my marathon. Years later, after a cycling accident, I sought out complementary treatment and after getting back on my bike 4 months later, I decided I wanted to serve others getting back to doing the things they love.
I graduated from the New Hampshire Institute of Therapeutic Arts in June of 2008. I received my Maine and New Hampshire License and became certified by the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. I have taken many classes including Zero Balancing, Thai Yoga Massage, Reiki, Orthopedic Massage, JFB Myofascial Release, Hot Stone, Sports, Deep Muscle, and Compassionate Touch. I’ve had my own office since 2008 and have worked at the Omni Mount Washington Hotel Spa. I am a volunteer at the Merriman House in North Conway, have volunteered at the Pan-Mass Challenge for Dana Farber, and the Boston Marathon and work as an instructor at New Hampshire Institute of Therapeutic Massage. I enjoy running, hiking, road cycling, and skiing and bring my experiences to my massage practice.
Board Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, Member of American Massage Therapy Association, Licensed in New Hampshire and Maine.
I enjoy giving and receiving the massage techniques I have learned. Most often, I use my intuition and your guidance to bring a combination of massage strokes to your massage. Each of us is an individual and our bodies change continuously, therefore, your massage will do the same.
